Biography

Bernhard Stübecke was a member of the German team which competed in the road race at the 1928 Olympics, but, as only one of their riders, Karl Koch, finished the race, they were not classified. Stübecke had to retire after a severe fall resulted in a knee injury. Directly after the Games he turned professional and competed in around 25 six-day-races.
