Biography

Yoshio Miyake attended the Japan Gymnastics School while competing in gymnastics at the 1936 Berlin Olympics. After retiring from active competition, he became a teacher at the Chukyo University and served as first director of the Faculty of Sport Sciences which was established in 1958.
