Biography
Heinz Ostheimer was part of the Saar gymnastics team that finished 22nd at the 1952 Helsinki Olympic Games. Individually he finished 153rd in the all-around competition. The team was coached by Kurt Marschollek who also introduced volleyball to the Saarland. From 1970-80 Ostheimer was president of his home club, TV Bexbach 1886. His son Ernst was also a gymnast.
