Biography

Alexander Placheta was an Austrian freestyle swimmer participating at the 1988 Seoul Summer Olympics. He was eliminated in the heats over 200 metres. He also teamed up the Opatril brothers in the 4x100 metres freestyle relay, but they were also eliminated in the heats.

Placheta graduated in architecture from the University of Innsbruck in 1995 and worked in various architectural firms in Cologne, Mallorca, Bavaria, and Wien (Vienna).
