Biography

Breaststroke swimmer Michael Günther competed in the 1968 Mexico City and the 1972 München Olympics. He was eliminated in the semifinals of the 100 metres in 1968 and in the heats in 1972. Also, he was eliminated in the 200 heats in 1968. The same year he won his only national title in the 200 breast.
