Biography

A 6-2 (1.88) forward, Nancy Dunkle attended Cal State Fullerton and set every school record for scoring and rebounding. She was a two-time All-American (1975-76) and also played on the 1973 Universiade team which won a silver medal. Dunkle won a gold medal at the 1975 Pan American Games and also competed that year at the World Championships. Dunkle was inducted into the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame in 2000. She later coached at her alma mater for two years (1977-79) and was a member of the inaugural class at the Titans (Cal State Fullerton) Athletic Hall of Fame in 2005.
