Biography

Volleyball player Regina Vossen was a member of the West German women’s team at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics that finished sixth after losing the match for fifth place against South Korea. Vossen won 178 international caps and participated in the 1981 and 1983 European Championships as well as in the 1982 Worlds.

Vossen played with TSV Rudow Berlin (1976-81), SV Lohhof (1981-84) and TG Viktoria Augsburg (1984-85). She helped Lohhof win the German Championship and German Cup in the three years between 1982-84. Also, she won both titles in 1985 with Augsburg, as well as the CEV Cup.
