Biography

Water polo player Thomas Huber represented West Germany in the 1984 Los Angeles and 1988 Seoul Olympics. In 1984, the team won the bronze medal and in 1988 they finished fourth after losing the bronze medal match 14-13 against the Soviet Union. In 1985 he won a bronze medal at the European Championships and also won the World Cup, and in 1989 he won the European title.

Nationally, Huber played with SV Cannstatt until 1987, and then ASC Duisburg, helping them win the German Cup in 1989. Huber later studied as an aerospace engineering but then turned to coaching in the German Bundesliga and later with lower league clubs.
