Biography

Bolesław Kwiatkowski played basketball for Poland at the 1968 Mexico City Olympics. He played for both AZS Warszawa and ŁKS Łódź in his career (1957-73) and earned 114 international caps. Kwiatkowski won a bronze medal at the 1967 European Championships and played at the 1969 World Championships.

Kwiatkowski graduated from the University of Physical Education in Bielsko in 1965 and then earned a masters’ degree in physical education from the University of Warszawa in 1968. He later settled in Australia where he worked as a teacher and coach.
