Felix Würth won 21 Austrian titles in the 4×100 metres relay (1948, 1950-1952), 4×400 relay (1947-48, 1951, 1952), long jump (1947-48, 1950-1952), triple jump (1946-48, 1950-1952), and decathlon (1946, 1948). At the 1950 European Championships he finished 13th in the triple jump and was eliminated in the long jump qualification.
In 1947, Würth won the Universiade both in long jump and triple jump. He was then selected for the Olympic Games the following year. In 1949 he again won the triple jump at the Universiade and won silver in long jump, and in 1951 added another long jump gold.
At the 1948 London Olympics Würth placed eighth in long jump and was eliminated in the qualification of the triple jump. Four years later at Helsinki he did not advance to the final of either event. Würth married his team-mate Lotte Haidegger and later emigrated to Canada where both died, in 2004 and 2014 respectively.
