Biography

Hurdler and sprinter Edith Oker finished fifth with the sprint relay at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Games and failed to qualify for the final of the 100 hurdles. She participated in the 1986 European Championships and the European Indoors in 1981, 1983, 1985, and 1987. At West German Championships she won with the sprint relay in 1983 and 1985, the 100 hurdles in 1986, the 60 m hurdles in 1984 and 1987, and indoors in 1984, and in the 1989 long jump.

Personal Bests: 100 – 11.52 (1984); 100H – 13.09 (1984).
