Biography

Mark Lutz was a long sprinter whose best finish at the AAUs came in 1973 when he finished second in the 200. At the 1973 Universiade he finished fifth in the 200 but ran on the winning US 4x100 relay team. He competed for the University of Kansas and the Pacific Coast Club. While in college he won Big Eight titles in the 100/220 as both a junior and senior. Lutz was briefly married to Olympic distance runner Francie Larrieu and later married Olympic hurdler Pat Donnelly. Lutz is a member of the University of Kansas Athletic Hall of Fame.

Personal Bests: 100y – 9.2 (1973); 100 – 10.2 (1974); 200 – 20.5 (1973); 400 – 46.5 (1975).
