Biography

West German alpine skier Karin Dedler finished 14th in the Alpine combined at the 1988 Calgary Winter Games. The following year she won the bronze medal at the World Championships, in the downhill event. In 1991, she won national titles in the super G and downhill events. By profession, she graduated as a sports teacher.
