Biography

West German alpine skier Sepp Behr, whose daughter Pamela also became an Olympic Alpine skier, participated in the 1956 Cortina d’Ampezzo and the 1960 Innsbruck Winter Olympics. His best finish was eighth in the giant slalom in 1956. In 1954 he had finished sixth in the Alpine combination at the World Championships in Åre. Between 1954-62 Behr won six national titles, three each in both slalom/giant slalom and Alpine combined.
