Biography

Carlo Fassi had the following placements at major international championships - Men: 1949 World Championships (8th); 1951 World Championships (6th); 1952 World Championships (6th); 1953 World Championships (3rd); 1949 European Championships (4th); 1950 European Championships (3rd); 1951 European Championships (3rd); 1952 European Championships (2nd); 1953 European Championships (1st); 1954 European Championships (1st). Pairs: 1949 European Championships (9th) (with Grazia Barcellona [ITA]). Fassi was later the coach of Olympic champions Peggy Fleming, Dorothy Hamill, John Curry, and Robin Cousins.
