Biography

Stephen McCain was a gymnast who competed at the 2000 Sydney Olympics and the 1994, 1996, 1999, and 2001 World Championships. He attempted to make the 2004 US Olympic team, but after failing to do so, he retired from competition.

McCain attended UCLA. After his competitive career ended he stayed in the Los Angeles area and became an actor, appearing in films, television, and commercials. He is listed with over 18 film appearances on IMDB, some of it stunt work because of his background, but not all of it. His interest in acting began when he was asked to perform gymnastics for the lead character in the movie The Peaceful Warrior.
