Andrzej Stypiński was a Polish graphic artist, designer and interior architect. Beginning in the 1920s he mostly producing posters, many of them for sporting events. His works are characterized by reverting to the Art Deco style but also by a certain Mannerism. Together with Stefan Osiecki, in 1935 he created smart wrapping for the popular pralines of the company for E. Wedla, again in an Art Deco motif with contrasting colors and clean contours. It has been stated that, for Stypiński, his joint projects came out better than his individual ones. One of the works that he submitted in the 1932 art contest was created in co-operation with Olympic rower and artist Jerzy Skolimowski. Stypiński later worked as an interior architect designing exhibition pavilions, kiosks and installations, including the designed of the interior of the Powszechny Theatre, the first theater to resume operations after the end of the German occupation.
