Biography

Kristina Lum was an artistic swimmer who competed in the team event at the 2000 Sydney Olympics. At the World Championships she won a bronze medal in team in 1998. She stepped away from competition after the 2000 Olympics and performed in Las Vegas where she swam in “La Reve – the Dream” at the Wynn Hotel.

In the 1990s Lum had performed some mixed duet synchro with Bill May, winning the 1998 US championships in the event, and when mixed duet became a World Championship event, she returned to competition and she and May won a silver medal at the 2015 World Championships. Even before that, Lum had been inducted into the US Synchronized Swimming Hall of Fame in 2012.
