Ferenc Hatlaczky had the following podium finishes at the Flatwater World Championships: 1st 1954 K1 10000 m, 2nd 1954 K1 4×500 m (with the non-Olympians Ervin Szörényi, András Sován, and Ferenc Wágner), 2nd 1958 K1 4×500 m (with György Mészáros, Lajos Kiss, and the non-Olympian László Kovács), 3rd 1954 K1 1000 m.
