Biography

Jeremy Teela was a biathlete who raced at the 2002, 2006, and 2010 Olympic Winter Games. His best individual finish was 14th in the 2002 20 km race. Teela competed at 10 consecutive World Championships from 1997-2009, placing 10th in the 2003 sprint event. His best World Cup finish was a third-place podium at Whistler, British Columbia in March 2009. He continued to compete internationally through the 2013/14 season. Teela was in the US Army World Class Program, as a staff sergeant, during his Olympic appearances, and was later in the Utah National Guard.
