Biography

Arne B. Sletsjøe had the following podium finishes at the Flatwater World Championships: 1st 1987 K4 10000 m (with Arne Johan Almeland, Harald Amundsen, and Morten Ivarsen), 2nd 1983 K4 10000 m (with Harald Amundsen, Geir Kvillum, and the non-Olympian Lars-Ivar Gran).

Sletsjøe was the former president of the Norwegian Canoe/Kayak federation.
