German high hurdler Kirsten Bolm participated at the 2004 Athens Olympics reaching the semi-finals. She won six German national titles over 100 metres hurdles in 2000-02, 2004-06. Bolm also won four 60 metres indoor titles in 2002, 2005-07.
At European Championships, Bolm won a silver medal in 2006 and at the European Indoors won silver (2002) and two bronze medals (2005, 2007). Her best result at the Worlds was a fourth place in 2005 and a fifth place at the 2006 Indoors. Bolm became a graduated psychologist by profession.
