Liudmyla Mykhaylivska

After graduating from university in the mid-1970s Liudmyla Mykhaylivska worked as the head of the figure skating school at Lokomotiv Kyiv. Mykhaylivska later became the director of the skating school as well as an international referee. In the latter role she officiated at editions of the World and European Championships, along with the Winter Olympics in Lillehammer (1994) and Vancouver (2010). From 1992 to 2000 Mykhaylivska served as the President of the Figure Skating Federation of Ukraine, also serving as a member of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine during this period. Her daughter Anastasiya was also an international figure skating judge who officiated at the Winter Olympics.
