Biography
Raúl Martínez had the following podium finishes at major championships: 1st in the 1955 Pan American Games épée, 1st in the 1955 Pan American Games épée team (with Floro Díaz, Santiago Massini, Félix Galimi, and the non-Olympians Adolfo Philippeaux and Alfredo Daverede), 3rd in the 1963 Pan American Games épée team (with Floro Díaz, Omar Vergara, Alberto Balestrini, and Guillermo Saucedo).
