Klaus Allisat was a sabre fencer competing for the mixed German team at the 1964 Tokyo Olympics and for West Germany at the 1968 Mexico City Games. On both occasions he was a member of the sabre teams that finished sixth and seventh, respectively. In 1963, 1965 and 1968 Allisat finished second and in 1966 third in individual sabre at the West German Championships.
