Biography

Fencer Richard Wahl won a bronze medal at the 1936 Berlin Olympics with the sabre team. Individually he was eliminated in the second round. In 1937 he won another bronze with the team at the World Championships. He later became president of the Hessian Fencing Association. From 1948-61 he was also president of FTV Frankfurt 1860.
