José Miguel Pérez was a Puerto Rican fencer who represented his country in the early 1960s. Pérez won bronze in the team sabre event at the 1966 Central American and Caribbean Games in San Juan. Two years later he competed in the individual foil and épée disciplines at the 1968 Mexico City Olympics. In addition to competing in the modern pentathlon he also had a club in Quebradillas where he trained local fencers. Pérez was killed in May 2024 when he was hit by a vehicle in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
