Biography

Jørgen Arenholt played singles and doubles outdoors at the 1912 Stockholm Olympics. Arenholt was unusual as he did not take up tennis until he was 25-years-old. He studied medicine in København, and competed as a gymnast and footballer, playing for Kjøbenhavns Boldklub. He won a minor tournament in 1919, only seven years after taking up tennis. Arenholt competed at Wimbledon in 1910, losing his first match in singles and doubles (with Ove Frederiksen).
