Biography

Ahmed Khan was an East Bengal footballer who played forward for India at the 1948 and 1952 Olympics. Khan also won a gold medal with the national team at the 1951 Asian Games. He started out with Bangalore Muslims, winning the Rovers Cup with them. He then joined East Bengal in 1949, playing with them for 11 years and leading them to their first League-Shield-Rovers Cup treble in 1949 and leading them to the IFA Shield for three consecutive years, 1949-51. In the last years of his career Khan joined Mohammedan Sporting.
