Biography

Lily Strömberg-von Essen competed at both the 1920 and 1924 Olympics in tennis. She was coached by her brothers. Strömberg-von Essen won seven Swedish singles championships between 1916-23, five of them indoors. She also won five Swedish doubles titles between 1923-30, three of them partnered by Sigrid Fick.
