Biography

Yoshitaka Takeda graduated from the Japan Gymnastics School and taught physical education at a junior high school in Tokyo. He competed at both the 1932 Los Angeles and the 1936 Berlin Olympics, acting as team captain at the latter. Takeda died from a kidney disease at an early age.
