Biography

Fritz Feuz was a Swiss gymnast who was a three-time all-round national champion, winning the title in 1961, 1963, and 1964. Feuz also won titles at the 1961 Federal Artistic Gymnastics Day and the 1963 Federal Gymnastics Festival. He competed at the 1960 Roma Games, finishing eighth in the parallel bars and eighth with Switzerland in the all-round team event. Four years later he participated at the 1964 Tokyo Olympics with his best performances coming in the horse vault (16th) and the pommelled horse (28th). Feuz returned to the Olympics in 1968 at the Mexico City Games where he was a referee in the artistic gymnastics programme. He repeated his role as an official for the 1972 München and 1976 Montréal Olympics.
