Biography

Claude Dehombreux was the best Belgian rower of the 1960s and 1970s. In Belgian championships, he captured 30 titles, specializing in the skiff event. He competed in that boat at the 1968 and 1976 Olympics, while rowing in the double sculls at the 1972 Games. A lifelong member of Royal Sport Nautique de Bruxelles, he remained involved in rowing as a coach.
