Biography

Bob Kaehler rowed in college at Rutgers, and later rowed in three Olympic Games for the USA, in the quad sculls in 1992 and the eight in 1996-2000. Kaehler rowed at seven World Championships, and won four gold medals in the eights, winning in 1994, and 1997-99. He also won a World bronze medal in the eight in 1995. Kaehler won two gold medals at the 1995 Pan American Games, winning in the four and eight. Kaehler was inducted into the Rowing Hall of Fame in March 2012.

Kaehler later attended Columbia University, where he earned an MS in physical therapy. He was also certified as a strength and conditioning specialist, working in movement dysfunction and human performance.
