Biography

Robert Waldemar Huber was a Finnish shooter. He competed in the trap events at the 1912 Olympic Games in Stockholm. Twelve years later he returned to the 1924 Paris Olympics, winning a bronze medal in the trap team event, this time along with his brother “Konni”. In 1929, Robert won silver at the World Shooting Championships in the same event. Domestically, he won five Finnish national shooting titles between 1927–33.

Huber earned a master’s degree in engineering and worked in his father’s plumbing company. Robert Huber senior was born in Switzerland and came to Finland in 1872 where he built the Helsinki water supply network and founded a water supply company, which later became known as Huber.
