Pierre Candelo was a French competitive sports shooter who specialised in the trap event. In 1968 Candelo competed at the Mexico City Olympics where he came fifth, just one point away from a medal. In the early 1970s he competed at the World Shooting Championships, winning a team silver in 1970, followed by a team bronze a year later.
