Biography

Sigvard Hultcrantz won silver medals in two team events at the 1920 Olympics at Antwerp: the free pistol (50 m), and the small bore rifle (standing, 50 m). In 1920, he served as lieutenant in the coast artillery and was later promoted to major. In the late 1930s, he was commanding officer of Älvsborg fortress on a small island off the Göteborg harbor.
