Liliana Gonzalias had the following podium finishes at major championships: 2nd in the 1955 Pan American Games 200 metre freestyle, 3rd in the 1955 Pan American Games 4×100 metre freestyle (with Ana María Schultz, Eileen Holt, and the non-Olympian Cristina Kujath), 3rd in the 1955 Pan American Games 4×100 metre medley (with Eileen Holt and the non-Olympians Vanna Rocco and Beatríz Rohde).
