Ana María Schultz had the following podium finishes at major championships: 1st in the 1951 Pan American Games 200 metre freestyle, 1st in the 1951 Pan American Games 400 metre freestyle, 2nd in the 1951 Pan American Games 4×100 metre freestyle (with Eileen Holt and the non-Olympians Cristina Kujath and Emma Gondona), 2nd in the 1951 Pan American Games 3×100 metre medley (with the non-Olympians Nélida I. Del Roscio and Aurora Otero Rey), 3rd in the 1951 Pan American Games 100 metre freestyle, 3rd in the 1955 Pan American Games 4×100 metre freestyle (with Eileen Holt, Liliana Gonzalias, and the non-Olympian Cristina Kujath).
