His daughter Adriana Zwanck is a professional golfer who made her debut on the Ladies European Tour in 2011.

Federico Zwanck had the following podium finishes at major championships: 2nd in the 1955 Pan American Games 4×200 metre freestyle (with Pedro Galvão and the non-Olympians José Izaguirre and Jorge Vogt), 2nd in the 1955 Pan American Games 4×100 metre medley (with Pedro Galvão, Orlando Cossani, and the non-Olympian Héctor Domínguez Nimo).
