Sonja Hausladen was one of the best Austrian female swimmers mainly competing in butterfly and individual medley (IM) events during the 1970s and 1980s. At the 1980 Moskva (Moscow) Olympics she failed to reach the final of both the 100 and 200 metres butterfly.
