Canadian competitive swimmer Margaret Stone competed during the 1930s, specialising in the freestyle. Stone swam in the 4 × 100 metres freestyle relay at the 1936 Berlin Olympics where the Canadian team tied for fourth with the Hungarians. She also reached the semi-finals in the 100 metres freestyle. Stone later emigrated to Australia, where she spent the rest of her life.
