Jürgen Bachmann was an East German swimmer who reached the semi-finals in the 200m butterfly at the 1960 Rome Olympics. A member of SC DHfK Leipzig, Bachmann was the 1961 national champion in the 100m butterfly and the 4x100m medley, and in 1962 he won the 400m individual medley.
