Biography

Margaret Harding is one of only two Olympians, the other being Mohamed Bin Abid, to have competed in all five swimming event types at the Olympics - freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly, and individual medley. However, Harding uniquely did this all at only one Olympics, the 1964 Tokyo Olympics. At the 1966 Central American and Caribbean Games, Harding won eight medals and five gold medals, winning medals in four event types, missing only the butterfly.
