Biography

Betty Grimes competed in plain high diving, an event no longer held at the Olympics, at Antwerpen in 1920. At the 1920 US Olympic Trials, she had placed fourth on platform and fifth on springboard. Grimes represented the Minneapolis Athletic Club in 1920. She later worked in radio advertising and married, becoming Betty Lindley.
