Biography

Dick Blick attended North Central College in Naperville, Illinois, an NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) school. Blick won 11 NAIA titles while at North Central, as follows: 100 yard freestyle (1969, 1961-62), 220 yard freestyle (1959-62), and 440-yard free (1959-62). Blick swam at the 1959 Pan American Games, helping the US win gold in the 4x200 free relay. After graduating from North Central he later earned a masters’ degree from Indiana University. Blick spent over 30 years in California teaching math and physical education and coaching swimming.
