Biography

Walter Richardson swam for the University of Minnesota. He won NCAA titles in the 100 butterfly in 1963-64 and the 200 fly in 1964. He was also Big 10 champ in the 100 fly in 1963-64 and the 200 fly in 1964. At the AAU Meets, Richardson won the 100 fly outdoors and outdoors in 1963-64. Richardson later swam a few masters events, swimming for MOVY Masters. He became a physician.
