Biography

Evan Stewart was a Zimbabwean diver who competed at three Olympic Games. He attended college in the United States where he dove for the University of Tennessee, winning NCAA 3-metre springboard titles in 1994 and 1995 and six Southeastern Conference titles – 1-metre in 1994 and 1996-97; and 3-metre in 1994-96. The highlight of his career came when he won the World 1-metre Championships at Roma in 1994. He also earned a full set of Commonwealth Games medals. Stewart returned to Zimbabwe after college and later became the managing director and part owner of Mujiba Exports.
