Biography

Alessandro Bovo played on the dominant Italian water polo squad that concurrently held the Olympic title (1992), World title (1994) and continental title (1993). In addition, Bovo played on teams that won took the 1995 European title, the 1993 FINA Cup and bronze at the 1996 Olympics. Domestically, he was also very successfull. Playing with Savona and Pescara, he gathered a total of 5 titles (1991, 1992, 1997, 1998 and 2001) and four cup victories (1990, 1991, 1993 and 2000).
