Biography

Kevin Robertson is considered one of the greatest water polo players ever produced in the United States. He played collegiately at UC Berkeley, where he was a four-time All-American and helped lead them to the 1977 NCAA title. Robertson played with the US national team from 1977-88. He made the 1980 Olympic team that could not compete, and then won silver medals at the 1984 and 1988 Olympics. Robertson also played on gold medal winning teams at the 1979, 1983, and 1987 Pan American Games. He was a member of the US team at the 1982 and 1986 World Championships and the World Cup in 1979, 1981, 1983, and 1987. Robertson was elected to the USA Water Polo Hall of Fame in 1994. He later worked as a mortgage banker.
